Travel Protection in AI Assistants

Add it to Claude

1. Select Add to Claude below, or in Claude open Customize → Connectors, choose to add a custom connector, and enter the connector URL.
2. No account or sign-in is needed.
3. Start a chat and tell Claude about your trip.

Other assistants that support remote MCP servers (Streamable HTTP) can connect to the same URL.

What you can ask

• "I live in Florida and I'm going to Italy from April 12 to April 22. The trip costs $3,000. What travel insurance can I get?"
• "What's the difference between the Standard and Cancel For Any Reason plans?"
• "Can I still get Cancel For Any Reason? I paid my deposit last week."
• "I'll take the Standard plan. Start the checkout."

What the connector can do

• List travel insurance plans: each plan's price as a percentage of trip cost, its main coverages and its restrictions.
• Get coverage details: the covered cancellation reasons, benefit limits and state restrictions for the Standard or Cancel For Any Reason plan.
• Quote travel insurance: prices your trip under both plans and says whether Cancel For Any Reason is available to you. No quote is created.
• Start a checkout: creates your quote and gives you a link to review it, add any missing details and pay on travelprotection.insure.

Your details and payment

• Pricing a trip needs only your state, travel dates, destination and trip cost, plus the date of your first trip payment if you want to check Cancel For Any Reason.
• A checkout needs your name and email. The assistant should ask before sharing them. Your phone number and addresses are optional there; if you don't share them, the website asks for them before payment.
• No tool charges a card. You pay only on travelprotection.insure.
• Each checkout link expires one hour after it is created.
• We never receive your conversation. If you don't finish your purchase, we delete the personal details stored on the quote about four days after it expires.

Who can buy

• US residents, except residents of Hawaii.
• Cancel For Any Reason must be bought within 14 days of your first trip payment and isn't available to New York residents.
